- Degree in economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Masters in business administration from Instituto de Empresa Business School

Tim McBride
HEAD OF ASSET MANAGEMENT LONGSPUR CAPITAL
- Over the past decade, Tim has gained extensive experience in the financing, development, construction and operation of over 50 alternative energy and sustainable infrastructure projects in the UK
- Tim opened the Edinburgh office in 2011 with Temporis Wind Limited before establishing the Asset Management business for Longspur Capital Limited in May 2018
- The team is currently responsible for operating the largest 500 kW FIT scale portfolio of wind turbines in the UK
- Tim served for 6 years as an Officer in the British Army fulfilling a range of operational, technical, planning and leadership roles. Tim has an MA from the University of St Andrews

Mark Byrne
HEAD OF LEGAL & COMPLIANCE LONGSPUR CAPITAL
- Mark has 10 years’ experience of development, construction, operation, financing, optimisation, mergers and acquisitions in renewable energy companies and projects
- He has negotiated and delivered of all legal aspects (including land rights, grid connection, EPC, O&M and corporate matters) in respect of over 139MW of operational renewable projects in the UK with a combined investment value of over £175million
- In addition he has executed and delivered on the refinancing of multiple renewable portfolios in excess of £150 million with multiple lending institutions

RESEARCH ASSISTANT LONGSPUR CAPITAL
- Charlotte joined Longspur in 2020 as a Research Assistant after completing a MSc in Carbon Finance at the University of Edinburgh with a specialism in energy finance and low carbon and green investment
- Previously she worked as a Finance Analyst at multinational companies for 4 years and is an exam-qualified Management Accountant (CIMA)
- Charlotte holds a MA (Cantab) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and is currently undertaking the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualifications

Nick Hall
ASSET MANAGER LONGSPUR CAPITAL
- Nick joined the Longspur team in 2018 with a focus on the Asset Management side of the business
- Leads on the financial reporting of over 50 wind sites and has been instrumental in the implementation of bespoke asset management software to the portfolio
- Prior to this, Nick completed a Bachelor of Economics degree at the University of Sydney before moving to the UK
- Nick is currently undertaking his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualifications
